Runners in a marathon on a foggy tree-lined road

Taiwan National Park Marathon – Yangmingshan (台灣國家公園馬拉松—陽明山)

About

The Yangmingshan marathon returns after many years: full, half and 5K races through volcanic scenery on November 1.

The Taiwan National Park Marathon – Yangmingshan takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with the start and finish at the Bagua flag platform at Zhongshan Hall in Yangmingshan National Park. It returns after a long break.

  • Distances: Full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km) and a 5 km run.
  • Course: Through Yangmingshan's volcanic landscape, passing landmarks such as Zhongshan Hall, Qingtiangang and Lengshuikeng.
  • Extras: The finisher's medal doubles as a hot-spring pass with local bathhouses. The finish area has a Red Bull DJ mobile stage and a small mountain farmers' market.
  • Registration: Opened June 2 and entries are limited, so places may already be full. Running-and-travel packages with hotel stays were offered by travel partners.
