Taipei's biggest annual party: live performances at City Hall and the midnight Taipei 101 fireworks countdown.
Every December 31, Taipei City Hall and its surrounding plaza host the Taipei New Year's Eve Party, with performers from Taiwan and overseas in relay for roughly six hours, ending in a countdown to the Taipei 101 fireworks at midnight. Hundreds of thousands of people attend.
The lineup and schedule for the 2026โ27 party have not been announced yet, so this listing reflects the usual annual format โ check the Taipei City Government's announcements closer to the date.
